SPRING BREAK!!!

No more APUSH! Yay!

Anime con was awesome, although there are now pictures of me on the internet. =P Lindsey has more, though. I spent too much money and was teased about my skirt. *laughs* And we wandered around MOA in our costumes. I failed to obtain a drawing that I commissioned, but it should be arriving in the mail.

Spring break has been much fun so far. I hung out with some debate kids on Monday. I never realized that the philosophy section of Barnes and Noble was such an amusing place.

I am finally making some headway on Xenosaga. Joy!

I saw a very bad movie, called Kingmaker. It was so bad it was funny. Worst pickup line ever:
Vapid love interest (after rescuing main character from slavery): "I paid a pretty penny for you."
Main character: "Not as pretty as YOU, my lady. . ." *waggles eyebrows suggestively*

And they put all the fight scenes in slow-mo! But because Amanda and I were laughing at the awfulness movie, I didn't get time to see Death of a President. *tear*

Played Anima and Arranged Marriage Uno with Tony and Lindsey. Best card games ever.

Declared I was moving out. Was not taken seriously because of lack of money.

Oh! And I saw TMNT, and liked it, cause I'm a dork like that. ^-^

My mother accidentally-on-purpose has misplaced my sandals, and now is dragging me all over creation to buy new ones.

Tony: "Poor tin can. They tried to give him a proper burial, but he was too heavy. So they just left him. The Paladin would have protested, but she was kind of. . ."
Me: "Dead?"
Tony: "Just a little. They'll bury the helmet, though. It'll be symbolic."
Lindsey: "So they found out what was under the helmet, huh?"
Tony: "Yeah. . .they also found out why he never had a girlfriend."

I love that boy.

This thing sounds horribly emo all of a sudden. For some reason, I only write in it when I'm irritated. Must try to stop that.

I'm sleepy, and sick of coming to school. Is it time to graduate yet? Grr. . .

Saturday night I went to Amanda-sama's house and made up Everyday Angst Ballads and played much DDR. I never knew that picture books could be so amusing. . . My stomach hurt from laughing so much, but it was worth it.

The anime con is this weekend. That will be much fun. *does happy dance*

The season was fun, but I am very ready for a break. I get free time again! Yay!

01. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Let myself fall for someone, and tried to stop worrying about what will happen. Still working on that. . . *laughs*

02. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I made any last year. . .this year, I definitely hope to keep mine.

03. Did someone close to you give birth?
No.

04. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

05. What countries did you visit?
Eh. . .none.

06. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A sword!

07. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
A certain week in September. *smile*

08. What was your biggest achievement(s) of the year?
I finished a book. Not a bad one, either, if I do say so myself. And I got a job! Go me.

09. What was your biggest failure(s)?
Letting my thoughtless, cynical side get the best of me far too many times.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got sick the day after Christmas. That was no fun. =P

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Hmm. . .probably the many CDs I accumulated. Although I didn't really buy most of them.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My friends', of course. And Tony's, for listening to all my rantings. Such a patient boy.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
George Bush's. A majority of JHS. Mine, sometimes.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Barnes and Noble, Suncoast, the bank.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Final Fantasy, job, debate camp, daily events that I can't remember now but made me very happy at the time. . .

16. What songs will always remind you of 2006?:
"If I Fail" by Cartel. Kathleen was awesome and introduced me to Cartel at camp.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you ..
i. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? About the same, I think.
iii. richer or poorer? Richer. Yay for paychecks.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Stopped running around so much and relaxed.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Whining, ranting, being childish, avoiding my problems and/or blaming them on other people, letting fear stop me.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I went to my dad's side's celebration on Christmas Eve with Tony, worked on Christmas Day, then went to Mom's side's celebration, then met some of the Palmer clan, went home, got sick.

21. What are you most looking forward to in 2007?
Being a senior, spending more time with friends.

22. Did you fall in love in 2006?
Love is a strong word. . .

24. What was your favorite TV program?
The Office.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No new enemies.

Too hard. . .probably Terrier by Tamora Pierce.

Way too many, again. Cartel, Imogen Heap, Yoko Kanno, The Veronicas, KYO, October Project. . .

Final Fantasy Dirge of Cerberus and XII, a job.

Can't think of anything really. . .nothing that mattered.

Pride and Prejudice, Little Miss Sunshine, X-3, Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

I had a bonfire, and I was 17.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not having to go to school. Oh well.

Fashion concept? Hahaha. . .I don't know if I'd call jeans and T-shirts a "concept."

34. What kept you sane?
Honestly? Tony did. Him, and the friends that put up with my irritable spells.

Do they have to be real? Because Riku is gorgeous.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Global warming. Save the polar bears!

37. Who do you miss?
I miss the Beans, who I haven't hung out with nearly as much as I'd like to. Kait's party reminded me how fun that is. I miss the people that have graduated. I don't see them often enough anymore. . .

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Katherine, who is awesome.

Trust is a good thing to have.
